Coffin Bay Yabbies are highly sought after for their beautiful clean flesh. Living in such pristine water ensures no muddy flavour, resulting in a sweeter meat.
Our yabbies and marron live happily together in our kilometres of channels. Both enjoy the same vegetarian diet and both are committed to keeping their homes as clean as possible, which is why they both rush to clean up the meaty bait during harvest.
A yabbies environment reflects in their shell colouring with muddy waters producing a dark brown/black yabbie. Our yabbies range from a deep blue to a bright green colour which is a result of their clean water.
